So I haven't actually had a chance to get to Boston yet, but I sent one of my trusty Bonna Bag supporters over to OAK to check out the store and how the bags are doing. They were having a grand opening sale that weekend, as you can see by the sale sign hanging above the bags. If you're in Boston and get a chance to go stop by, the store is located at 31 Gloucester st.

Burma Artluck

On Friday night a Bonna Bag could be seen hanging on the wall of Columbia University's Potluck House as part of their "Artluck". The organizers described the event as:
[ARTLUCK] is a night of visual, video, performance, and everything
else art at Potluck House, a communal space for the communal-ing of
artists, gourmands, and activists alike. The event is a fundraiser,
aimed at raising awareness about human rights abuses in Burma. All
proceeds will go to a school in Mae Plah Tah, a village in eastern
Burma.
A Flat Tote Bonna Bag was among the art being raffled off that night and one lucky Columbia student walked home with this bag:
