Bonna Bag in Action

Hello Lovers of Bonna Bag,

I realize it has now been more then a year since I've updated this blog! Here's my excuse... I've been passing the time working as a sorcerer for some little blue people (I've been working in the art department of movies and if you click on the previous links you'll see two of the movies I worked on). Anyway, there are a few bags left and it looks like it might be time for me to make another batch! I've updated my etsy site (see a preview to the right of this post) and hopefully you will find something you like.

I just got back from San Francisco where I attended the opening of the "Jules Olitski, Embracing Circles" exhibition at the Hackett/Mill Gallery. I wore my favorite circles bag in honor of the occasion.

Since some of you may be new to Bonna Bag I suggest that you browse through some of the older posts to get an idea of what we are all about. But as a refresher here are some of my favorite photos of friends modeling Bonna Bags:

Enjoy! And please feel free to contact me at bonna.bag@gmail.com

Bonna Bags as Wall Decoration

I've recently discovered that Bonna Bags are not just great for carrying your stuff, but also help spruce up your decor when throwing a party. Spot the Bonna Bags as wall hangings in the below photos. Plus a delicious birthday cake just as bright and colorful as the bags!

Bonna Bag on the Radio!

Early this morning (at 8:15am) I visited the East Village Radio studio to chat with Hella and Ruth on the Hella Fabulous show. We talked about Bonna Bag, over weight dogs, George Carlin, Obama/Mccain, and lots of other fun stuff. Also, there was a lot of giggling (hey, I can't be expected to be serious so early in the morning). To listen to the podcast click here and listen to the most recent show. I come on the show about 8 minutes in.

We also discussed the possibility of a Bonna Bag clutch and I brought the prototype into the studio (see images below). The prototype was sticched together by Lizzie Krasner, features a magnet clasp, and a sari lining.
